Type O Negative

...Just discovered this band... If you're into metal, and you really like the Sisters Of Mercy (for the old-timers among us) you will love this !

Their latest CD is great, and "Halloween in Heaven" is THE track on this album.

Get it if you can.... "Dead Again" is the title.

Usually pretty up to date on the "less comercially viable" music...But never heard of them

Listening to the album right now...got it on repeat

Want to hear some of the Godfathers of Industrial ?

They are Belgian...

Do a search for Front 242... They were doing industrial before they even had a term for it...

That was what I was listening to in highschool...damn I'm old...

Front by Front? LOVED Front 242....you just jumped into a convo that me and Shagz have been tossing back and forth for the last couple of weeks....

You MUST check out Front Line Assembly, if you haven't already. Millienuim was by far the best LP they did, but some of the older stuff is very good too.

Gotta figure out how to rip music off a CD, and post up a few songs from the band I was in.....

I'm rather disappointed neither one of you tossed up Cabaret Voltaire or Throbbing Gristle.

....noobs.

I've heard Cabaret, but not Throbbing. Guess I need to search for a song or two. I'll admit...you got me beat, brother...

Wikipedia for both of them:
Throbbing Gristle
Cabaret Voltaire

I guess I shouldn't push the noob issue too far, though....seeing as both these bands were out and kicking ass before I was even born.

This song got me into them a long time ago. Its from "Bloody Kisses" If you are a type-o fan you will love it.

BTW one of my sons is type-o-negative coincidence?

Wow... this is some old stuff, still good, but I haven't listened to these guys (OR Front 242 for a few years)...

Try to get some "Life of Agony"; "Revolting Cocks"; and "Big Black" you might like it.

Early Ministry (But post 'Every day is Halloween') is also good.
