Don't take your car to the car wash(See Inside)

Unbelievable bad-luck. I just put it through a BP Carwash for a quick rinse before I take pictures of my car, to be put up on ebay. Well this is what happened. I'm now in the process of filing a claim against them and the owner to pay for the damages. Any advice for this? Here are some pictures.

You should call your local police station to see if you can have them file a report.

I use car washes for company cars, all my babies are hand washed for just that reason you showed.

Sorry for what happened mayo5 but they probably have a disclaimer somewhere, hopefully not.

"Owners not responsible for lost or damaged parts during the course of this car wash"...That's just what the sign says here. I'd still fight it though, that's pretty fkd up.

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

There was no sign, and you can't win if you don't fight.

What should I do about BP? Try to get the money from them anyways?

have them look at their machine and fix THAT, so it doesn't happen to someone else later.

I haven't decided if I want the bumper replaced yet or not. You can still tell, if you know what to look for, and I really don't want that to fall on the new owner of the car.

And they won't change their machines.Grow up.
