Ok I was patient. Snair went down HARD!
I though snair would post this up but apparently he's not going to. last weekend snair went down on a VERY fast right. he was top of 3rd about to go to fourth when he lost the rear. luckily he didn't chop it or it would have been a 120mph highside and he'd probably still be in orbit.
The bike's rear came around and then luckily just sat down on its side and slid for a few miles. Snair tumbled a little and then slid on his back. if you saw the bike you wouldn't believe it it just looks like it was held against a big grinder wheel. the barend and lever were sharpened to a nice point the frame slider lost literally about 1" of delrin, the peg was about 10% still present and the tail has a hole in it now. oh and a crack in his subframe. overall it held up amazingly well.
snair also held up incredibly well. I want him to post up pics of his leathers. he blew out almost every stitch on the back and has about 7 holes about 4" across and then one about 12" wide across his ass! his helmet was hit really hard with the tire and then the front was ground down really bad.
only injuries were a really sprained pinky hand bone and a quarter abrasion on his wrist. and 200 or so sore bones.
you guys have to see his leathers its pretty impressive.
snair post 'em up!!
o/t I got the generator and easy up for you today.
