Memorial Day

For those in the USA, today we remember those that have served our country in times of war and peace.

We remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice to honor the idea of freedom, all over the world, and answered the call to not only keep our country free, but help others to achieve that goal as well.

Whether the reasons were sound or not, these men and women gave their lives for their country, and for that, I personally, am thankful, and will always remember them.

As William Shakespeare so eloquently wrote:
"From this day to the ending of the world we in it shall be remembered. We lucky few, we band of brothers. For he who today sheds his blood with me shall be my brother."

So, for all the people around the world, who've died in service to their countries, today, we remember you.

Here's one to my boys that are over in harm's way.

One of my boys is leaving TODAY for his 6th trip over...my prayers go with him.
