Any Bowhunters here?

I grew up shooting a Bear Kodiak recurve... I've shot PSE and Hoyt compounds, but let me tell you... I decided to give the BowTech TomKat a try and couldn't be happier.

I've been wanting to start for 3-4 years now but just get myself to drop that initial $ to get things going. Oh well, someday.....

If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

My dad is giving me his recurve bow that he used in high school. I'm not a hunter but I thought It would be a cool hobby just to shoot at a target.

I try to fill my freezer with mule deer and elk... I wasn't able to get a tag this year though.

I am building a small range on the side of my house, should be able to get back to about 40 yards.

The last time I went was about 25 years ago. I was sitting in a deer blind in January during a freezing rain storm. I literally had ice hanging from me. It was at that point that I realized that I liked doing a million other things more than that.

My father ran a small archery business (on the side) and I still target shot for a few more years, but once I joined the AF, I gave it all up.
