Last day of preliminary ground works

Still more to do, but we're gonna wait until after winter when all the dirt has settled in. So will be having some more heavy equipment on my garden around March to finish it all off.

We made very good progress today in 110+ degree heat.

was a great help (love those 12V ice boxes )

A couple pics...garden may not be big by US standards (1 acre), but it's huge according to Belgian standards. Belgium is a fly shit on the world map, so go figure

Before anyone says that my garden looks sort of brown, it's supposed to look like that since it's been sprayed with industrial strength herbicide

An acre garden is big even in us standards... for example my lot is about .33 of an acre... lol So no garden here.. all house and yard.

Our play is to find a lot someday and build, but the market is headed down still so it's not he right time yet.

Looks like the house is coming along very nicely.

haha its hardly a mansion but we are trying to do things with it. we moved out of an old house that only had 750 sq ft to this house about a year and a half ago. this one only has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths right now but its alot better than the old one.
