Holy Shit: Nyc

Don't have a lot of time as I'm on a computer station at a BUrger King....right across the street from ground zero (WTC location)...

This place is insane! Glad the wife and I came, will post a full report with some cool pics next week. We are taking the subway everywhere, eating food from the little carts on the street...

So far since last night we hit Times Square, Empire State Building, China Town, Little Italy, and now at the WTC location. Let me tell you if you haven't been here, you have to come, especially to the WTC. It really puts things in perspective and is really emotional. All the faces of the people are here that didn't make it, it's crazy.

So, off now to other things. Museum of Natural History, Rockafellar Center, and other shit....

Oh yea, we followed some little chinese lady through all of these back alleys and up into a shitty little apartment, and inside was bootleg heaven for purses. My wife loved it!

later

Well I'm back in New Jersey now after 3 days in NYC. I've seen it, and wow.... it is a great experience. Although I enjoyed myself and got to take many pics, I cannot understand the fascination or "glamour" of living there. Way too many people, too much congestion, traffic everywhere, expensive as shit, and just out of control..... Great to visit, crazy to be there daily!

Post pics in a few days

good for you bro- I grew up there for 30 years and pretty much took it for granted. Went there weekly to ride and party (ridin was a challenge), but loved it. That is a great great city, and way fun.
Next time try and hook up with some locals and do the non-touristy thing, even more fun that the main beat.

I use to be out there weekly. It was a blast. I have been to the WTC before and after. It is a must see.

Unless they have re-opened it, I was one of the last groups to be in the statue of liberty at the top, and also the WTC and Empire State Building.

Was incredbile, and I have been there about 6 times total, and everytime gets more fun.

lots of bootleg shit on the streets. I was there a few weeks ago for the first time. Isn't it nuts? I liked visiting there, but I wouldn't want to live there for any amount of money.

China town bootleggers

Here is the place the wife and I went to. This little lady took us through back alleys and side streets and up to this dingy apartment, opened the door and....

You should have went to the museum in central park, it has one of the most amazing exhibits I have ever seen in my life. They have a full egyptian catacomb in there, an actuall 100% non-rebuilt catacomb. It was fucking unreal.

It's great, but to me it doesn't feel like America. It's so different then any other place in America. Just my .02 though.
