Awesome pics! Glad that you found something you both enjoy doing! Now for a bit of friendly advice. It looks like she's clearing the chamber with her finger on the trigger. Let me share with you my experience on this. A few years back my wife and I were both getting our CCW's and I had just finished going through " how to field strip " our glock .40 with her about 3 times , helping her through it and all. I said " is that good " and she agrees saying we're done for the session. So, I put a loaded magazine back in it and laid it on top of the washing machine and turned around to shave ( we did this in the bathroom that day , it was early morning and I had to shave before work ). Well , I've always told her , when you want to clear a weapon , the first thing you always do is drop the magazine , and then you clear the chamber. She decides she's going to strip it down while I'm shaving , behind my back so I can't see her , and doing it quietly so she'll surprise me. WELL , I was definitely surprised, because she DIDN'T drop the magazine , she skipped straight to CLEAR THE CHAMBER - AND HAD HER FINGER ON THE TRIGGER - so you can guess what happened. She jacks a round into the chamber and since her finger is on the trigger it immediately shoots of course. It was sooooooo loud , it wasn't even a " bang " . It was a concussion of noise from behind me. The next thing I remember was I was standing in the hallway outside the door feeling all over my back and front and looking around saying " WHAT DID YOU SHOOT !!! "
She had shot through the washing machine, through the bathroom wall , through our bedroom wall , hit a stud in the back wall of the house, ricochet off that stud and into my cell phone laying on a dresser.
That was the last time she's touched a gun.
And that's why I tell people " make sure her finger isn't on the trigger ".
