Hey rinn, can you put up a pricing and where you got them from?

I'm working on building a double myself, and also my own brew kits...

Was that the "A" style coupler?

I know the "S","G", and "U" are expensive as shit..

I have all of my taps ready, just trying to find the right size freezer right now..and for a good price, trying to do everything under 500$

D Coupler for US Domestic Kegs..

S, U, G, & A are for European Import Kegs so you will need a D coupler..

If you get a home brew keg you need a different coupler though.

My initial plan was to have every type of coupler depending on my mood for the beer

Well unless you have beer shipped from Europe here, no matter what keg you get a D coupler will fit.. I bet there isn't many kegs you can get in the US that you will need a diff one...

a D coupler and a Home Brew one is all you need I bet

Well, I know that Newcastle requires a different tap, as do some of the other imports. My local keg shop carries most of these imports, so it might not be a bad idea to have all the connectors.

This is what I was referring to for the different couplers, it's what I was told also, and why I was going to buy one of each.

Looking for good recipes for beer over 10% alcohol.

Also by lagering, do they mean letting the beer age over time?

B/c I have found some recipes for making the beer and it takes about 2-3 weeks to get ready, then they recommend almost a full year to lager. Thats rediculous

Might want to do some research then... I bet you will only need a few not all.. Depending on what beer you are looking to get

Price is the huge thing obvisouly... I will keep the shitty party beer seperate and out the kegerator, but Sam Adams/New Castle/Spaten, etc etc are not cheap kegs.
