Travis Barker is pretty bad ass. I've seen him do some crazy mixes of 10+ different songs, all with tough beats. He just switches gears so smoothly.

Just call me Captain Crash...

Right on Mark!

That was the first concert I saw of theirs. Every concert keeps getting better

Would be cool to see their Snakes & Arrows tour get put on DVD. One of their best ones yet!

Yep...saw them every time they came to San Diego last year....all three times

Bad ass when a drum solo gets a bigger ovation than ANY other song played all night.

Huge ovation for the drum solo. They only made it here once, and they skipped us for their 30th Anniv.

Although, "Tom Sawyer" got just about as big of an ovation as Peart's solo. After that, I'd say it was Alex's solo. Phenomenal tour!

nice to see dino actually playing something instead of letting the drums and bass do everything... not sure about the quality of what he's doing, though

Opeth is pretty cool. I've got their Perdition CD/DVD.

Here's another Peart solo (with a smaller drum kit Mick ):

BTW, the Godsmack drum solo/battle was removed from YouTube. Was very cool to watch.

Even more incredible to watch him on a small kit. You can see more of the movements. Simply amazing.

Hooray for someone actually knowing who he is. Gold star to you, sir. :

I do like their record. It's not the greatest thing ever made, but it's still pretty good.

One of the greatest drummers I've ever seen, though, has got to be Josh Freese (plays with A Perfect Circle, among others). He's nothing spectacularly complicated or flashy, but he's been solid and dead on every time I've seen him.

The one that gets me is the last time I saw APC live -- he had broken his right leg....so he just played everything with his left leg ONLY, and you absolutely couldn't tell. I wouldn't have known if Maynard hadn't said something about it during the show.

Burton's packed a few pounds on, but he's a far cry from being in the same league as Dino.

+100 points.. Him and Danny Carey are my favorite modern drummers.
