Thumbs up Anything for a photo - JAWS

These photos really surprised me how close this Eurofighter got to the aircraft with the camera crew. I understand their are lenses for depth of field view but its still bloody close. Check out the AoA of the fighter when it gets reall close. It looks hungry

I just double-checked, it looks like the current version Eurofighter Typhoon... introduced in 2003... nice jetfighter nonetheless... wonder what will be the replacement... :corn

Well, I understand that the F35 Lightning is being purchased by the UK and Australian forces.

The Eurofighter will be around for awhile considering they've only got it of the ground in recent terms being as you say 2003 vintage

Seen the exact same thing out of the back of a Herc up in Point Mugu back in 95.

Of course, the difference being that the aircraft was a Tomcat. I'll have to dig up a few pics.
