Picking it up this Thursday bud.

Can't wait. Thank's for asking.

Getting an 06 R1. All stock. Already bought a helmet today. Also ordered a leather jacket and gloves as well. Hopefully it will get here soon. I'll post pictures in the other "Bike pics" thread when I get it.

Long day. 5 hours of driving in 40 degree weather. I'm cold and tired. Havent ridden in a few years. Bike is great. I love it. I will take pics tommorow and post em up.

2006 Black R1......Only mods are front flushies, rear integrated taillight, and a swingarm licence plate bracket that I'm not sure I like. Thinking of getting a regular ol' bracket to put under the tail.

Again..........I'll post up tommorow. I'm tired......but happy.

Ok so before I drive 2 and a half hours yesterday to Cambridge MN to pick up the bike. When I get there I realize it's a car dealership. When I first starting talking to this guy he told me the bike as completely stock. I get there.......and there is a rear integrated tail light, front fushmounts, and a swingarm licence plate bracket. So I told the guy......well the bike isn't exactly STOCK STOCK!!. He says well what do you mean? I said.......well first off those are hotbodies front flushmounts. He says....."Oh really I thought those were stock."

Then I pointed out the rear integrated tail light......that's not stock either sir. REALLY? he says. By this time Im realizing the guy doesn't know jack shit about bikes. So he starts asking me questions about the bike I'm buying FROM HIM. He then points at the steering damper and says....."Is this stock?" Yes sir it is i said. Then he walks me over to a Kawasaki Ninja they had there and asks.........is this stock? And points at a Ohlins steering damper. Nope.........Nope it isn't. That is afermarket. lol. Anyways to say the least the guy was nice but kind of a moron.

Well maybe he meant mechanically stock. I don't know. Kawasaki actually comes with Ohlins steering damper now right from the factory so they come stock with it now.
