Ufc 101

I'm using my mobile to post this, but, I just saw UFC 101 advertised on cable a few minutes ago and holy shit. Anderson Silver and Forrest Griffin are matched up in the 205lb class. Going to be a good one.

Ken Flo v Blow Job Penn too - I hope Kenny kicks his ass, can't stand BJ after he talked such a huge amount of sh*t about GSP before getting his ass royally whupped and then whining about him being too greasy. He's a bitch and a quitter.

Looking forward to the card, it should be very entertaining especially Forrest v Silva - there's no quit in Forrest and that's for sure.

Almost time - I'm just watching Penn v Stevenson on the previews. No doubt BJ was awesome in that fight but I still hope Kenny destroys the whining bitch.

Chris Leben v Anderson Silva - remember that one? Leben got destroyed in the first couple of minutes.
Silva is so impressive, I hope Forrest wins but I doubt he will.

Pellegrino v Neer

Rd #1 Neer looking dangerous from his back
Rd #2 some decent stand up followed by Pellegrino on top again, last few seconds - Pellegrino hooks in but not enough time to finish
Rd #3 Ground game, Neer on his back for 3rd rd looking like it will be a Pellegrino decision - vicious elbows by Neer to finish the fight

Unanimous Decision - Pellegrino

Grove v Almeida

Gotta say I like Almeida in this one.
Tito Ortiz is in the crowd and Mike just said he's back in the UFC?? WTF???

Rd#1 Grove eats a big punch, Almeida eats a knee and then takes him down. Almeida is a 3rd degree BJJ black belt so Grove is in trouble on the mat. Grove back up and then slammed by Almeida.
Rd #2 Almeida takes Grove down, very close arm bar attempt by Grove. Almeida starting to open up, ground and pound on Grove.
Rd #3 Grove has got to stop Almeida to win I think. Almeida is looking tired but is on top again.

Unanimous decision Almeida

Sadollah v Hendricks

No idea on this one - Hendricks is a 2X NCAA champ wrestler but I really liked Sadollah on TUF.

Rd#1 HOLY SHIT Hendricks finishes it in 32 seconds!
That's a stupid stoppage - way too fast Sadollah was looking very sharp with his kicks and Muay Thai but got caught with a sharp punch on the way in and then ate some shots on the ground. Looked like he was trying to get back up but wasn't defending himself - I don't agree with that stop at all

Nelson v Riley

Don't know much about these guys except Nelson was on some season of TUF

Rd#1 Riley looking very aggressive and seems to have hurt Nelson a couple of times. Nelson starting to throw some good combo's
Rd#2 Riley looking very strong - he's a big 155. Lands some good head kicks and knees to the body. Nelson is in trouble.
Rd #3 missed most of it while making a sandwich ;-)

Unanimous decision Riley

Griffin v Silva up next

Griffin v Silva

I'd love Griffin to win and he's a more natural fighter at this weight but Silva is so talented - Love Griffin's entrance music
The crowd's jacked up

Measurements are almost identical
Here we go....

Rd#1 Lots of feeling out. Silva drops him with a punch - he's incredible, great head movement and lightning sharp punches.
KO with a straight right jab while walking backwards with his hands down.

He showed utter disdain for Griffin avoiding punches just by moving his head - hands down by his sides - Incredible.
I hate to say it but that was embarrassing for Forrest and he sprinted out of the octagon.

KO in 3:23

Main event
Go KenFlo!!!!!
I think a guy from the crowd just stole Kenny's hat as he was walking to the ring LOL!!
Apparently BJ hasn't lost @ 155 since 2002!!

Florian v Penn

Rd#1 BJ swinging hard and looking crisp. He's definitely the aggressor but KenFLo is defending well. Kenny can't take him down - is BJ tired? his mouth is open already... KenFlo dropped by a right punch followed by flying knee.
Rd to BJ

Rd #2 Kenny keeps trying the takedowns but can't get them.
BJ's hands look heavy and he rocks Kenny when he lands.
Hard to call but probably BJ's rd

Rd#3 Good uppercuts by BJ; Kenny looking for the cutting elbow
Not a lot of action, Kenny is pressing him up against the cage to try and tire him out and eats some punches. Big punch at the end of the round for BJ as Kenny tries a superman - rocks him big but not enough time to capitalize.
Rd to BJ I think

Rd#4 BJ's 1st takedown attempt is succesful now KenFlo is on his back and in trouble. BJ has passed the guard and has Kenny's back. BJ going for rear naked choke
KenFlo's done.

Well, I don't like the guy but you have to respect BJ's skill.
He is unmarked and unhurt - he defended every takedown attempt, landed some big strikes and choked out Kenny on his first try.

Hats off to him.

My pleasure

Feel really bad for Forrest but the fact of the matter is he got completely outclassed.
Given that he has legendary amounts of heart and refuses to quit it saddened me to see him so completely dominated - Silva is a freakin wrecking machine man!!

watch here!!

I'm back home in Thailand so I'm looking forward to watching the action. Bummer for Griffin but Silva is just plain insanely talented. I really would have liked to have these guys go at for a couple of rounds. Thanks the report mang

I can't help but feel that the 205's are a bit of a made up class for guys that can't hack it in the middle or heavy classes.

Seems like it's all filled up with guys from that fucking show and they get demolished whenever they fight outside their division.

HAIL TO THE KING!!

Apparently Tito has RESIGNED with the UFC!!
What's up with that? I thought Dana and Tito were bitter enemies???

At least for now, former light-heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz has his sights set on a November return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship's cage, against fellow ex-titleholder Mark Coleman.

UFC President Dana White has said that Ortiz's first comeback fight likely would be against Coleman. In his latest Youtube video (Note: Some raw language), shot aboard a plane this weekend as he left Philadelphia, Ortiz said he will start training to "hopefully" get ready for a Nov. 21 bout with Coleman.

Tito Ortiz Rejoins UFC; Fedor Still on Sideline
Published: July 31, 2009
Filed at 6:10 p.m. ET

Tito Ortiz has returned to the UFC. Fedor Emelianenko doesn't appear close to joining him.

UFC president Dana White announced a deal Friday to bring back Ortiz, the popular mixed martial artist who angrily left the league last year in a bitter public dispute with White over issues of respect and money.

The former light heavyweight champion has recovered from major back surgery, and plans to fight late this year or on the UFC's Jan. 2, 2010, card in Las Vegas.

''They just gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, and made up for the things that were done before,'' said Ortiz, whose celebrity has outpaced his octagon accomplishments since his last UFC victory in October 2006. ''You'll never hear about money out of my mouth ever again.''
