Fuel Prices in Oman

I filled up the company 4WD the other day and took this picture with my cell phone and I added the conversion info to the photo.

But it boils down to roughly USD$1.18 a gallon.

Oh the company pays for the fuel...

Oh yeah, when I first arrived in the Middle East in '98, gas was RO .110 a liter. Now its RO .120 a liter. That is a price rise of 2.5 cents in 11 years. No wonder the US hates OPEC, as the Gulf States can thumb their collective noses at one of the worker largest oil consumers.

hey guys just a thought, I'm not trying to stir any shit here. Just letting people know how it stands over here. You guys should know me by now.

And here I was fondly remembering the days when it was $.99/gal.

How about you package up a couple 50gal drums of that stuff and ship it over to me real cheap?

Don't feel too bad guys, you can rub it in to me when I buy my Ducati in Thailand. Depending whether I buy new or as new, I'm looking at spending between USD$38,000-45,000. That being either a 2007 Tri-Colore (absolutely immaculate condition) or an 1198S at the other end of the scale. Just to top it off, gas is about $2.00 a gallon.
