Shit if I lived there I would vote for her anyone who knows how to successfully run a business is better then the carrer politicians, actors , or Lawyers that usually run.

Very interesting. Will have to keep an eye on this. Out of curiosity though, makes on wonder that if she were to win, what kind of head butting will be going on between her and the state senate/house. Arnie's having a bitch of a time...

Arnie has or had good intentions but as fjorn said he is having a hard time... the bottom line is the Gov doesn't have the control he or she should.

A new gov is not the answer, term limits is the answer...... Get those money hungry paid fookers out of there and get real people in there to vote in proper spending habits and not what they are paid off to get passed.

ya that's too much to ask for I think.

Generally someone either has morals and integrity, OR is independently wealthy. But in my experience you don't get to be wealthy by doing clean business.

I guess it's the Unions in Cali that are bankrupting the State from what I gather.. and the Governator can't get any compromises with them..

Unions get far more of their revenue from the members, I know i pay dues all the time. But I get guaranteed hours and my pay is defined by hours worked in a single shift instead of by the number I work in a week. IE I get overtime after 8 instead of after 40.

On a related topic of the Governoator, my wife just got this from payroll at work,
Quote:
Gov. Schwarzenegger recently signed legislation to help solve a $24 billion budget deficit for 2009-2010 in California. The following items should be of interest to employees:

·10% withholding increase.Effective for wages paid on and after November 1, 2009, your state income tax withholding will increase by approx. 10%. The Employment Development Department expects to release revised wage-bracket and exact calculation method withholding tables to employers in early October.

·Supplemental wage tax rate increase.Effective for supplemental wages paid on and after November 1, 2009, the tax rate will increase to 10.23% from 9.3% for stock options and bonus payments and to 6.6% from 6.0% for other types of supplemental wages such as overtime pay, commissions, sales awards, and vacation pay.

For Sony employees, the higher California payroll tax withholding rates will go into effect on the November 6th pay date. As a result, employees will see a lower “net” paycheck amount than they normally have seen in the past. The SEL Payroll team does not have any more information at this time. If you need more information about the effect on your income taxes, please consult your tax preparer/advisor as needed. Thank you.
