optima batteries

My deep cycle battery for my toy-hauler is tired. Doesn't hold a charge very well and now it will charge to about %50. I want a blue top optima battery. Anyone know what one I need(no starting needed) and where to look for one. These damn things are so expensive but I hear great things about them.

they're seriously kickass batteries. For where I am anyhow, in the real cold climate you can't beat them, can't even come close to them.

Cold doesn't know yellow from red, energizer from interstate. All it knows is ice from gel.

HAIL TO THE KING!!

Go with the D27M if you have the room. Expensive, but well worth it. I think they are only $25 more than the medium size and a decent amount more power. As for suppliers, I always buy batteries local. Most marine or off-road shops can hook you up.

Yep. They are the best and worth the extra money.

Yellow top is what you need..... but keep them on a battery tender during non use times or they won't last, just like any battery... I have replaced my blue top in the boat every other year due to not holding a proper charge... good thing they have a decent warranty though... lol

I picked up a Bluetop one today. From Sams club it was $155. I think a great price. Its the non starter deep cycle one. We will be testing it longevity this weekend for I have a race. Hopefully not needing the A/C and will see how this puppy does. I do have a generator as a back up if needed. 3000w Yamaha silent one.
