Rain interrupts Phillip Island test Day two
Day two of Honda, Ducati and Kawasaki pre-season testing at Phillip Island saw the predicted arrival of heavy rain, which fell off and on throughout the day - severely limiting the amount of testing undertaken.
Indeed, some riders - such as Ducati Marlboro's Sete Gibernau - failed to complete a single lap due to the constantly changing conditions, but a number of others at least used the rain to refine their wet weather set-up.
Indeed, the likes of Randy de Puniet, Toni Elias and Nicky Hayden headed the 'most laps' list with almost 50 circulations, but all are hoping for better weather on Thursday's third and final day...
...unfortunately, further rain is forecast - although the weather may improve during the afternoon
