actually now that I think about it it's kind of telling that they didn't mention Jamie's '89 superbike championship. It was on a Yamaha, but it was as a privateer. Instead they only mention the '95 supersport championship.

He has a cajun New Orleans type restaurant just off 40 in Black Mtn
I took a bike trip there with my folks when I lived in Charlotte, and I jokingly asked the waitress if Jamie was there, and she smiled and said "maybeee", and walked away.
5 minutes later he came out of the kitchen and walked up to the table and was like "I understand someone here wants to see me"
i was like holy $#it!!!!
he hung out and talked for a while, and talked about the racing pics on the wall and stuff
it was just so cool- I will go back one day

he even signed my helmet- totally cool guy

Jaime James is awesome! He comes into my shop all the time. I've got to sit on a few of his machines, as well as go on rides with him. Not only is he insanely fast, but super smooth

What is funny about vid #2 is that etty bitty low power thing gets an estimated 49mpg. LOL MY 04 R1 with a 1051cc Big Bore Kit has 160hp and get fro 0-180mph in hold the fuck on and the last time I checked it got 43 mpg. Does anyone else see something wrong here?
