What tickets you guys have for Indy?

Who's going and what tickets do you have?

I'm considering buying the 3 day general admission tickets but I'm not sure where / if they will allow you to be seated on a proper seat or are standing / sitting on the grass only.

Anybody know?

Just been looking for hotels or motels .... ain't much available, looks like it's gonna be well attended. Trying to convince a bud that it's worth the drive down from Ontario, Canada. Hell, it's only 500 miles.
The R1 will eat that up....

I ordered my tickets back in March, I going to be in section J so I can see more of the chicane.

Section J is reserved seating so you can get up and do what you want then come back and your seat is still there. Price was 125 per ticket good for the three days.

I also paid 40 for reserved parking.

I called all the downtown Indy Hotels and they were booked way back in March so I got myself in to the doubletree just 15 miles out from the track.

I'm also coming from Ontario Canada.

And ticket will start being mailed out at the end of this month, I called the track two days ago, wondering where mine was

Driving down, my wife and 4yr old son are coming with me.

Call the track and talk to them, cause they do have some arrangements with the local hotels. They might be able to help you.

I got general admission tickets. A few of us are pooling in a motorhome and camping on-site, trailering bikes for local transport. Should be an awesome time

Info on general admission?
Thinking of going this way but not sure where you can / can't go or sit. Are these tickets what the 'spectator mounds' are for i.e. - no seats or available seating?

Yeah I know Junior, what I'm asking is if you can actually USE the seats with General Admission tickets. Seems like the tickets for the stands include Friday and Saturday admission anyways so if you can sit down for 3 days instead of having to stand then it might be worthwhile shelling out a bit more coin...

Group Perks: A lap around the track on your bike with the group, VIP parking at the track, a police escort to the race on Sunday. We have a BBQ at the Indiana State Fair Ground on Saturday evening. This BBQ is FREE to Aprilia owners with one guest each and dealers. Aprilia USA is picking up the tab for the venue and their meal. The Miracle Mile race starts at the at 7:00 and is walking distance from the BBQ. You are not required to attend the Miracle Mile race to take part in the BBQ, however there is a 1000cc Aprilia powered entry in the race and we do want to cheer him on. We should be able to park our bikes inside the building for security and show off. Aprilia will have bikes on display as well. After the race we can return to the BBQ and BS till 11:00 p.m. Special thanks to Rick Panettieri (Aprilia & Moto Guzzi Brand Manager) and Michael Fiduk (Events Coordinator) for making this happen.

BBQ is free to Aprilia owners... as of now NonAprilia owners can pay for the bbq.
