What??? Criville has his title winning 1999 NSR500 at home???

... But Rossi couldn't get Honda to give him the RC211v he wanted?

At least that is how I understand it... or did Rossi get the bike?

I never understood why the factories crushed so many bikes I understand why they could not let the tech out short term , but I always thought they could have stored them and sold them .

Rossi never got his RC211V. Yamaha gave him his 2004 YZR M1. Good management.

Rossi wanted his NSR500 not the 211v

And Repsol most likely bought the bike for Criville.

agreed- if the guy is good enough to hand you a world title, give him the damn bike, right
just have him sign something that says he won't leave it parked out in the downtown square and call it good
never understood that logic either
