Ducati impressed with Hayden...

autosport.com - MotoGP News: Ducati impressed with Hayden

This one is for those insinuating negative assumptions about Nicky's ability by misquoting what he said to his brother...

Quote:
Ducati's technical director Filippo Preziosi believes the team has made 'the right choice' by signing Nicky Hayden after the American completed a successful first test for the team at Valencia this week.
This after being faster than Sete, Melandri & Caneppa on his 1st outing on a new bike & new tires... If am not mistaken, all those have had more seat time on the Ducati than Hayden.

Quote:
"He certainly is very brave," Preziosi told Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport. "With the telemetry you can see that in certain situations the bike wobbles in a scary way, even more than with [Casey] Stoner, but he doesn't get off the gas.

"I think we've made a good choice."
That certainly sounds like a bike having the potential to be a monster... but did he let off the gas???

Only a pussy would do that

Nicky is class, I wish him the best of luck with Ducati.
It was great to see him regaining form the last half of the season ... almost like he was saying "See what I can do when I want to? F**k you HRC!!".

This only shows how great the electronics are.

And they said they made the right choice too at the beginning with Melandri.

Why not? Melandri still had more wins(5) on a Honda (only 51 starts vs. NH's 99).

Both riders entered the MotoGP class in 2003, but Melandri never got a Repsol ride.

2005 was his first year with Honda and he bagged 2 wins.

Have anyone ever read bad comments from a team after their new riders first test?

Good question... part of the problem I believe is now out of the equation... HRC.

I've already told you that if Nicky fails this year, I will concede that he is just average... you on the other hand are showing promise in that you will credit, I don't know, say "electronics" for example if Nicky performs alot better on the Ducati...

It's Vale's default answer whenever anyone other than Rossi wins. That or tires.

"Equal electronics box is all I ask! then I can kick his ass!"

who does this sound like? Biaggi perhaps?

HAIL TO THE KING!!

The electronics theory was confirmed by Gardner and Mamola this year, both have ridden the Ducati before.

Default answer? When Asimo won a race, I believe I gave him proper credit.

Your excuses for Rossi's winning aren't that much better though, every time he won or broke a new record, you would come up with all kinds of theories to discredit him. Since last year, you thought his winning and career were over, and I believe he proved you wrong, and yet you still try discredit him.

I promised racerraul, if NH starts to win with the Ducati, I will give him more respect and admit he's better than I thought. But if not, I hope I won't hear about how Ducati mistreated him.
