I wonder how much my organs are worth? They are in decent condition, no smoking and not much alcohol.
Any buyers?

ya I was thining just this, but mine are shot, then I thought about liquidating everything I own and I realized that it still probably wouldn't be enough.

Maybe I can convince the bank that it's actually a house.

My biggest problem is to convince my wife we actually need a Paton worth half the value of our house.

it's a piece of history. This IS a race bike, not a knock off or lookalike. This isn't an RZ500 or a Desmocedici, this is the real McCoy.

Damn!

Gustav... if you are in good position to buy something like this, I'd say do it. The ensuing arguments with the Miss are worth it.

So....one could safely say you'd set a faster lap time on a stock 09R1 than that relic?

Good for a door stop for those that have the funds? Or, serious buyer purchases and the engine grenades and locks up at a trackday?

lmao

Paton: 190hp/159kg (135kg without gas)
R1 2009: 182hp/209kg (196kg without gas)

Put the lastest GP Öhlins gas shocks and the GP tires from today and I think a good rider is faster on the 500, yes. The normal rider is maybe faster on a stock R1. But thats not the bikes fault.

Get the latest of electronics like the one aprilia have on there RSA250 and RSV4 with TC and you probebly get out more hp and have a nicer easyer Paton 500 to drive.

I am not going to buy one, even though I tried to persuade my dad to put more mortage on his house today though.

Relic?
A great motorcycle in my opinion. A 09 R1 has nothing on that bike, more than being easier to ride but if that is what is most important when you buy a bike we would all be on ER6s.

Ehhh. No. But I don´t see what that has got to do with anything.
