shitty bike is what happened to Biaggi.

I shouldn't say shitty tho, just it's the first time Aprilia have EVER had a V4 on track anywhere, it's bound to be a learning curve.

yup, expect BIG improvement from them over the season. They know how to develop a bike. This thing's primary design was done by the same guy who did the cube, so expect a bike that's "born bad."

Aprilia have had serious problems with engines pissing oil all over the place so they have some work to do in the engine department.

Spies will be a contender from the first race.

Mad Max coming fourth in the wet on a brand new machine ridden by a legend. I think that is an outstanding performance for him and the bike. Reminds me of Rossi and his early days with Yamaha.

i think the fact that the yamaha is so competitive already is bad news for everyone else , i wonder if they have done any race distance testing

I actually am worried for the championship already. The Yamaha being such a radical departure from what they've done until now, and already so fast in so little developement time makes me really really worry. By end of season if it continues at this rate, the Yamaha will be unstoppable. A'la Chris Vermulean 2005. Just a matter of Ben keeping his head above water in the early season.

That said, the Aprilia is developing quickly too, and MaxB has got his head together better than he ever has in his entire career imo. The atmosphere in WSBK seems to be getting on well with him, I don't foresee him throwing the bike down the road a whole lot.
