That plus Kallio is tougher than coffin nails and has more balls than a tennis court. I'm hoping to see him on the podium before the end of the year, and in Nick's seat next year.

Even though he is from FInland I really like Kallio and think he can do well in MotoGP.

The fairings I have on my bike are from Mikas older brother Vesa Kallios old TZ.

I don't mind that he's Finnish. I just am happy to see somebody with an snow and ice background doing well at the top level. Show the rest of the world that us northerners don't live in igloos, and that the winter gives us an advantage, not a disadvantage.

toseland had a massive 200kph crash on day one and messed his brain up, so he couldn't focus the rest of the weekend.
Hayden is back a bit, but steadily shaved his time each day which is good. he's just 1.5 seconds off stoner.

Yeah I know he crashed but he was way off the pace even before the crash.
"just" 1.5 seconds means a lot of work, and he was beaten by a MotoGP rookie in Ducatis junior team...

Are you saying something about my igloo?

Getting beaten by both Gibernau and Kallio (albeit not consistently by both) doesn't bode well.

You cant put too much stock into test times. All they measure is the fastest lap they ran all day. You could have an otherwise crap day but get one good lap in. Does that mean that your 3 day test was successful? We will see who's in what position after the season actually starts...

Thatīs true but with internet you have sites that update the times every two, three hours you get a good idea of who is in the top or the bottom most of the times. But on the other hand we have Colin "There is no reason why me and Valentino shouldnīt be first and second in the championship" Edwards who always seem to prove that testing is testing and racing another thing..

The quote ios from a preseason test cocnclusion at Sepang early 2007.

Am I the only one to notice that the control tire has closed lap times up a bit? And Colin is doing well to adjust to the Bridgestone and be so fast so soon. Race distance he might choose wrong but he seems on top of it.

Hayden will get a grip for the bike, it is a world different from the Honda. Testing is testing and know one knows for sure who is relying on last years info and who is actually trying out new things. You have to sometimes slow down in order to get quick....

Colin's been complaining of front end chatter with Michelins for a long time... I do hope that the reputation of the Bridgestone front being far superior to the Michelins that Colin has found his confidence in the front end.

But this is just testing and none of it is over yet... Capirossi did very well, but will he find the missing like to his consistency.

I do Hope Hayden learns to ride that beast, or he may indeed be let go to a lesser team if he's lucky to land that next year. If he swapped seats with Spies next year, I wouldn't mind that one bit... I'm itching for some of these guys to leave the Rossi\Stoner show in favor of WSBK.
