I know these guys are great and all but switching bikes HAS to be a pain in the ass
We rarely see someone go from 1 to another and kick it into high gear 1st season or 2nd for that matter
GO ROSSI!!!!

Actually we have quite a few cases of poeple getting on a different bike and doing great. Rossi in 2004 and Stoner in 2007 for example...

If Bautista can begin to start resonable and not be ninth in teh first corner he would win a lot more races as he usually is one of the or the fastest guy out there...

Wow... that really sucks for Hayden.
Even Melandri made top ten in the 1st session.

Let me take him to the drag strip for a week, he'll get that puppy off the line.

Kallio this year then? Lorenzo and Dovizioso last year etc.
Iīd say you have as many examples of riders doing good as riders doing worse.

Well Kallio may be going a bit faster, but he hasn't been doing so hot on that Ducati, either. The 8th in Qatar was ok, though.

But he is down in 14th as well... The Ducati maybe harder to tame than most anticipate I'm afraid.
We'll have to see how the year unfolds.

I was affraid that the Melandri\Ducati curse might fall on the others as well...

But Stoner still sucks and it's all the bike right? he just holds it wide open all the time and skynet (his traction control's pet name) does all the work right?

that's not pointed at you Raul, I know you're not on the Anti-Stoner bandwagon, just a shot at all the guys that were saying it was all the bike in '07.

Kinda makes me wonder about Eslick actually. I'm not ready to say that Eslick is an awesome rider but at the moment I'd say "insufficient data to draw a conclusion."

Pedrosa and Rossi getting on well on the cool down lap, an enthusiastic high 5 rather than a forced handshake.

Good race from Randy, guy looked lonelier than Oddyseus out there, about 5 seconds on either side of him until Lorenzo hit the dirt, at which point it was even more infront of him.

Dovi and Jorge in the dirt, Jorge didn't throw too much of a tantrum, he managed to bust his master cylinder in the crash tho, tried to bang the bar around straight, but still nothing, pulled in and sulked directly off to his motorhome without taking the helmet off or talking to anyone. Honestly that was a lot better behaviour than I expected from him. He didn't punch even 1 mechanic or break down the wall of the pit garage!

It was a good run from Pedrosa, he lead for most of the race but as it got on you could see him get weaker, that knee still isn't 100%, damned good ride tho I think.

The 250 race was very, very good. A very strong ride by Hiro to beat Bautista in the end. Alvaro just never seems to get it all together at home. But whit Simoncelli giving away points all the time it might be Alvaros turn at the title, if HRC hasnīt got anything extra up their sleeves? Maybe Apirlia have cut the development on thier bikes with regards to the upcoming Moto2 class at the same time as HRC really has upped thier game?

Except for the runaway victory in 125cc it was full of great racing as usual. I felt really sad for Jonas Folger who at the point when he crashed had done the race of the day. Starting last and fighting his way up to third is unbelivable and I really hoped he would get on the podium but unfortunately it didnīt happen.

In MotoGP Rossi once again proved that you should never count him out, I thought he would have a hard time getting on the podium today but after WUP you could see JB and the gang had at least found something as usual.....
Great to see Pedrosa really showing his true potenial. Lorenzo not being as good as I hoped but I guess he will put that down as learning...
De Puniet did a very solid race today.

Great to see Melandri happy and fighting again. 5th is spectacular!

Vermeulen has to stop being so averag all the time. Come rain and Laguna Seca he shines but the rest of the races he is just so dull and ponitless, Toseland you can at least laugh at.

Hayden has really dug him self a big, big hole....

I agree... And it really bums me out that Kawasaki dropped... Hopefully, he'll continue to get better and bring them back into the fight.

Indeed... I have to say that this is worse than the Hayden haters expected, so they must be rejoicing...

On that note though... I still remain optimistic because of Melandri's past two results on what there like is no doubt not as good a bike as the Ducati... yet only Stoner is able to ride the freaking thing... Did I miss any Interviews from Melandri's Ducati departure? I really would like to hear his thoughts and comparisons of the Honda, Ducati and now the Kawasaki. I still think Mel is a top rider and his input well worth listening to.
