MotGP Le Mans ***Spoilers***

So the fourth round of the 2009 season is on its way. This time in the garlic country de FRance.. Vive la revolution and so on.

A track where Yamaha has been strong in the past and especially last year with aclean sweep of the podium with Rossi leading Lorenzo and Edwards.

Also prone to a lot of rain as in 2007 when Vermeulen got his first and probably last GP victoy.

My odds are on Rossi because if he wins at Le Mans he will have the possibility to take his 100th GP victory in front of his home crowd at Mugello and Rossi has a knack for being able to capitalize on those historic moments.

The Yamaha's generally go well at LeMans, but the Yamaha's have traditionally been on Michelins and LeMans is definitely a Michelin track.

Colin generally goes well here too, but he was always Michi's best rider on Michi's best track, I'm not sure it'll come thru this time.

I'm expecting to see Randy as second highest Honda and if it rains, I expect to see Kallio in the top 5.

HAIL TO THE KING!!

Rossi won on Bridgestones last year so he should be fine.

Colin got beat by a Michelin rookie last year and I suspect he has been beaten by other Michelin riders before. Has he ever been best "anything-rider"? Except best at making up excuses?

I hope Kallio will bounce back from the Jerez result as they really struggled there. Second Ducati home should be his aim and in the top ten.

Nicky Hayden gets a new crew Chief.
Setes former chief Juan Martinez makes a return to teh Ducati squad as Nickys crew chief. His former chief Cristhian Pupulin will now only look at data from the bikes.

Ducati also has new electronic package in order to help the riders ride the bike.
A new electronic package sound so damn boring compared to new frame parts, new expansion chambers or a revised firing order. At least in my book

it seems odd that nickys crew chief (who was also for Melandri) was doing double duty, he was crew chief but also a data analyst. Glad to see he has someone dedicated now.

DePuniet outside the top 10. That's a kick in the balls for the home race. Especially when you're the only local in the series.

125's rolling. It's wet, substantially more wet at certain parts, classic LeMans weather.

Cam's running inside the top 10!

wet conditions, more than 50% attrition, only 15 bikes finished. Total crashfest, you'd have thought it was Donnington.
