Gran Premio de Catalunya.

Not a single post about the GP at Catalunya...
Seems like we will have another Rossi/lorenzo with a dash of Stoner slugfest. The Yamaha seems to work very good as we have been accustomed to this year. It will be interesting to see if Rossi can bounce back and beat his team mate after being beat by Lorenzo for more races than he has beaten him this year wich is a rare thing to happen to Rossi.

Gabor talmacsi is riding the second Scot Honda bike, thatīs what a big sum of sponsormoney can buy you. Of course Takahashi has done his best GP so far.

Yeah tire endurance will eb amajor factor so it will be interesting for sure.

Just watched the 125cc race and Simon thought he had won the race but it was one lap left...

You could really hear the crowd chear when Simoncelli lostthe front and crashed, it was almost like a Spaniard had won the race...

WOWOWOWOW!! amazing last few laps. Insane how hard they pushed each other at the front. Strong ride by SToner and Dovi as well.

Damn! That was great. My heart rate went up quite a bit to be honest.

f00k me the championship is a 3 way tie.

This is bordering on Yoshimura type domination. For whatever reason tho, the people that hated it in the AMA love it here.

What a race, it can't get much closer racing then that, the top three were all the same speeds pretty much the whole race, it was the difference of smarts and stamina.

And like JR said a three way tie.... Only if there was one more person up there fighting with them... lol

I think it's a bit off of that really, after all there is a three way tie rather then a 100 point lead

wow what a chamionship!!!!!!!!!

i know a lot of people dont like jorge but he sure has made this years championship much more interesting. I am very anxious to see how he responds to this defeat. Will it get in his head like max, sete, casey last year, and everyone else that has battled rossi. I hope not!

Yamaha has really made some smart rider choices as of late

And Yamaha have riders like Spies, Simoncelli and Bautista either waiting in the wings or talking to them about a ride...

no it's 3 guys and a 45 point lead after only 6 races, LOL.

At this rate it'll go right down to the wire and someone will win by 1 point and the gap from 3rd to 4th will be ~6 race wins.... like the AMA in 2007, barring the Stoner factor.

And regarding the mindgames... I'm interested too but I'd like to point out that Jorge cracked in the most severe fashion of ANY of the guys listed. The question is, will he do it again? or has he grown up/come down to earth.

Amazing stuff. Rossi is determined not to be out done by a teammate and Lorenzo is determined to beat Rossi. I honestly think Stoner is just along for the ride...

Stoner puked in his helmet.

god damn I've done that once and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, I'd rather be waterboarded than do that again.

With my lousy internet connection I can't download worth a damn. I'll definitely be buying the seasonal DVD this year.I hope that battles don't change for the rest of the year.
Of note: Jeremy Burgeous' mum passed away the day before the race.

you're letting your biases colour your memory... max tucked the front more often than i've tucked your mum into bed, sete faked a shoulder injury after being punted... both were beaten consistently by rossi all year long... here we are only a few rounds in, and you're saying jorge has cracked severly?

if you looked at him in the post race interview, he was disappointed, but clearly focused on his career... same as last year; if seems he knows he'll be around for a few years, and will have an opportunity to win the championship for most of those years if he keeps ticking the points over...

that being said, what a corker of a last lap... was genuinely worried that stoner was going to topple off the bottom step of the podium, talk about physically shattered

56k/lorenzo fan warning.
Spoiler:

Mugello

Catalunya

Germany

USA

Most or all of these were unforced errors. So tell me again how mentally strong he is, I'll try like hell to keep a straight face.

I wish I had that Laguna crash in high res, it's probably the most spectacular one of the bunch.

I think if Pedrosa were healthy, he would be in the mix as well. I know most don't like him, but the boy can ride. He wants to beat Lorenzo as bad a Lorenzo wants to beat Rossi. This is turning out to be the most interesting GP championship in a long time.

you'd expect someone willing to push the limit not to crash in their rookie year? seem to remember rossi and stoner doing a lot of the aforementioned... can't remember whether hayden did, pretty sure he was tucking the front every other race in his first season...

i'd say mental toughness should be adequately highlighted with being equal in the championship? i must be missing something...
