Edwards to Aprilia in 2010??
WSB: Edwards and Biaggi for Aprilia 2010?
By Visordown News
Visordown's WSB mole sniffs out yet more rumblings on next year's line-up
RUMOURS ARE rife about this weekend about who's where next year.
Two big names have emerged as being favourites for a couple of rides in World Superbike, from MotoGP.
Much talk going on about Colin Edwards returning the class that saw him become a multiple world champion, this time getting back in with former employer Aprilia to ride the RSV4.
There's some doubt as to whether Edwards will replace Max Biaggi or not, or whether he will outst Shinya Nakano. There's even some suggestion that with the 250cc GP class being killed off and Aprilia not interested in making a Moto2 bike there is now extra funds in the racing pot that may just stretch far enough to see a third bike on the grid.
Edwards on an RSV4? I bet that's something we'd all like to see.
Edwards v Toseland in WSBK?
As the rumours grow stronger JT's now linked to firm negotiations with former WSB team
VISORDOWN'S WSB mole claims Britain's James Toseland has been in negotiations with his former WSB team, Ten Kate Honda, at this weekend's World Superbike meet at Donington Park.
Two weeks ago Visordown gave you the heads up that the two-time world champion was seriously considering a return to WSB, following his string of lacklustre performances in MotoGP. That said, Toseland broke from his run of bad form to bag an impressive sixth at this weekend's Dutch TT.
Ten Kate's team boss, Ronald Ten Kate, has publicly said he would welcome Toseland back into his squad with open arms.
