Lorenzo to Honda???
MotoGP: Lorenzo linked to £5million Honda dealBy
Visordown News
Can Honda snatch championship frontrunner now Yamaha won't meet Jorge's demands?
THE HOTTEST rumour flying around the MotoGP scene right now is that Fiat Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo is contemplating a shock switch to Honda.
Sources say Lin Jarvis, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, is currently in negotiation with the Spaniard as Lorenzo's contract expires at the end of this season.
But it's understood Lorenzo is asking for 5 million euros to remain at Yamaha - double what he's on right now. Yamaha have said they'll up Lorenzo's fee to 3.5 million euros but won't go any further.
Reports say Lorenzo is now in talks with Honda, who are interested in setting the Spaniard up in his own factory-backed squad.
Obviously Jorge is pissed that he can't afford one of these
While Gibernau is just pissed that he is unemployed once again
Maybe he should ask Prince William for a handout.

I'm fairly confident Jorge's move will happen. As long as he's at Yamaha and Rossi is around he's not going to be champ and he knows it. At Honda all he has to do is topple Dani, something he's itching to do anyways, and he's the heir apparent.
Something tells me that toppling Dani won't be as easy as he imagines it to be, unless the heavily rumoured seat swap happens and Dani ends up on the FIAT yamaha. Which wouldn't be a bad move either as the Yamaha is clearly the best bike in the paddock by a wide margin.
Meanwhile Stoner is Schwantzing it.

With Gibernau gone is there still enough bikes on the grid to make a championship? I thought they were at the minimum number of riders already. Maybe Dorna will force him to ride an old YZR, NSR in order to have a full grid.

since the season is already underway they're good, they'll have to pull some strings to get Aspar into the top class with atleast 1 bike, 2 would sure be better.
Ofcourse Pramac or whatever they're calling themselves now are on slippery footing too.
50/50 it's a cup next year.

We obviously hope to have a higher number of participant next year ... but even with 16 riders, the FIM MotoGP World Championship will remain valid.

I honestly sometimes think that a GSXR750 in the right hands would give the GP bike a real run for it's money.
The fact that Alvaro turned them down flat really tells a lot about their ability.
Yamaha aren't behind much or any on power either I don't think.

prove how awesome they really are.
Actually I'd just like to see what Rossi can do without JB.

ya he'd be an idiot to ditch JB, he's definitely not stupid enough to do that.
He'd have everything to lose and nothing to win, of the worlds 6 billion people approximately 5,999,999,995 think that he's the second coming, and the other 5 of us are sure that he's an asshole nomatter what he does.

JB has voiced in the past desire to work with both Hayden and Stoner.

Well that is news to me...
But life is good with Rossi and he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
I do wish\hope JB is mentoring some of the guys under him. There would be nothing much cooler than a few of his disciples to come forth as good as JB and wrenching for diff riders to bring a bit more parity.

ya I agree.
But ya he was talking about Hayden when Hayden first came to GP and again when Rossi was talking of leaving and it wasn't forsure that he was taking JB with him yet. And when Rossi was talking of fucking off to F1 JB was talking about working with Stoner. He's got an eye for talent. Not that I think Nick is talent but at the end of the day....
I have to wonder too if Nick would be better if he was actually able to get a bike set-up how he wants it instead of cutting eleventy billion laps and still not finding the set-up.

1st 5 years every rider has to ride a different bike every years
Big 4 and the Duc
then they can go free agent- that would mix things up a bit
