WSBK BRno. **Spoilers**

WSBK is back in action an Brno with Spies once again taking pole....amazing.

Haga in big pain and struggling, he said he would take pain killing injections for the race wich he hadnt done for the practise.

Hopkins was second fastest during the firts sessions but really lost out in Superpole so well have to see what he can come up with during the race.

Biggia who has won at Brno in all classes he has contested has been really fast all weekend so I hope Apirilia will get their first win. Spies will surely take the other one.

they gotta start giving out points for pole like in the AMA.

Mind you I guess that's how he got so good at quali.

Some really interesting results in there.
* The Stiggy Motorsports duo really messed up and didnt even make it through the first Superpole session. They will have an uphill struggle.
* BMW in sixth and seventh! Corser i sfast at Brno but he is far too often out duelled on the brakes to make a big splash but maybe a top five if everything aligns right for them.
* Tamada is way faster than Brookes when finally back from injury.

Hmmm sounds interesting, haven't seen it yet but from your comments it sounds like Fabrizio took Spies out? For some reason that guy always strikes me as riding on the ragged edge - a bit out of control and not always making the sanest decisions.

ya, I'm not trying to stand up for Ben or anything, shit happens on the racetrack. But seriously, Michel is generally a little out of control and he's definitely hot headed. Those 2 factors roll together to make a guy that I'm not sure I'd be particularly comfortable putting a move on, and even less comfortable after that.

what was funny is that ben was so pissed that he didnt even notice the bike was still running and just droped it to yell at Fab and pushed him....then 5 mins later 1 of the anouncers saw spies storming towards the ducati booth on his way back through the pits

It was a pretty iffy move for sure. Thee wasn't much room to pass and there were plenty of laps to go; he might have been forgiven for pulling that move on the last lap but on the 5th??
Thought Spies was gonna punch him....
Oh well it gave Nori a bit of breathing room - for a race or two...

Yeah... although I have no doubt Ben is clearly the man to beat.

The Nori\Ducati combo has been consistent and reliable. So I really don't want to see a series ruined by injuries... so go NORI indeed...

If he doesn't get it this year and Spies sticks aroud for another season Nori'll never win it. I think he's mentally prepped for this to be HIS year and will be devastated if he doesn't get it. Spies - much as he is SUPER impressive and has had his own fair share of bad luck, DNF's and crashes - has got time on his side and will obviously have nothing but top flight offers from here on out based on his debut season. Plenty of time for him to win it but I really want this to be Nori's year the old dog deserves it...

Nori deserves it no doubt... and I do hope he bags it cause his hints at the young making him work or him being to old to be hanging in there with the young sure sounds like he is gettin ready to hang the gloves...

But even if he doesn't make it... Nori is no less a rider in my eyes. He's given me as a fan some of the best racing ever.

I agree the old war horse nori deserves a title if you base the title on heart and not on the best rider.
I think he could not beat spies in a toe to toe fight , I think the ducati is a better bike, I think the mdnf's put spies second place in the points not nori.

In other words I think spies is faster than nori by a long shot.

but that is my opinion.

I'd love to see one thing before the end of this season ..... Haga and Spies toe to toe, wheel to wheel, neither giving any ground and scrapping for the win - and at the end of the day I'd love to see Haga win that scrap.

And this is why I miss the AMA of old. Personally I don't see what needed improving with it.

One team / person was winning too much - wasn't fair for everyone else that they / the bikes were that good. Have to penalize the talented so that the lacklustre can have a shot at world domination....

That seems to be the logic yea.

I wonder tho why Suzuki don't get the Yosh guys running their GP team. Yosh just excrete professionalism, racing heritage, clean and functional. I really think they could do a better job than Denning and co.
