I think they should just buy bikes like ours for the riders. Leave them completely stock just the way we buy them off the showroom floor. They won't be allowed to modify the bike in any way. They even have to leave on the big mudflap on the back.

No racing slicks either. Stock street tires stay on!

Switching back once again? Didnīt they learn last time out?
And the manufacturers with the most cash will always spend more cash than the other. No regulation is going to stop them, unless it is STD everything...

bingo.

I've said it before and I'll say it again just for good measure. As a racer, I will spend every penny at my disposal nomatter what the rules are. The rules just determine where the money gets spent is all.

I really doubt that Ducati are gonna go into the 2011 season saying "well shit there's a change in the regs, lets spend only half what we spent last year." Hella more likely they're gonna go in saying "new formula, new development costs, we need 150% the budget we ran on last year."

HAIL TO THE KING!!

Right, and I never said it would still be motogp. I just said that that's what the current motogp riders should use for 2012.

Exactly. They will spend as much money as they have and the one with the deepest pockets will spend more.

Or possibly just a sense of humor, lol.

No Lord.......I don't REALLY think that they should use stock R1's and gixxers for the 2012 race year.

I know.......I realize that. However he was asking if anyone had a sense of humor on Monday mornings. And for me it's not Monday morning for another 4 hours now. Which is why I told him I would get back to him in the amount of time I had mentioned. To let him know if my monday morning consisted of having a sense of humor or not.

apparently there was one freezing week this winter... fortunately i was in sunny (and i mean it, 30c+) moscow at the time...

fortunately humans aren't having any influence on the weather, it's just typical fluctuations in weather patterns
