It has been quiet in here lately hasn't it?

I would love to see Spies mixing it up right from the get-go, Krusty the Clown - I mean Marco Simoncelli might be a fly in the ointment too. The only thing I really am praying for is that it's more entertaining than last year. That whole year was one big long snooze-fest.

On another note - have you seen the size of the Moto2 Grid?
There's 40 riders in that series!! Should make for an interesting first few laps...

i didnt realize the field was that big, hell yea that should be good!!!

i love the idea of a spec motor, should really make for some crazy racing!!!

i think simoncelli is gona take a bit to get up to speed.. i hope jorge can consistantly keep it on two wheels and him and stoner can make val earn the next title

The only flying Simoncelli will do is when he lands arse up in the gravel trap. He has a lot of wokr to do and I would not be surprised to see him at the end of the field if he finishes the race.

It will be very interesting to see if Rossi finally has solved the Qatartrack for his Yamaha and if he can get control of the championship from the word go - I am pretty sure he would love to do that in contrast to the previous two seasons.

Spies will for sure mix it up with the big boys from the word go. It will be interesting to see if Pedrosa can claw his way back up there after some sub par testing sessions. He usually is right there when it counts and I think he will be top Honda this time around as well but it wont help much as Yamaha and Ducatis seem to be a step ahead - once again.

i believe that the honda ain't quite up to scratch quite yet, which is surely not helping the rookies throwing a leg over it... as usual, i don't mind too much who wins, as long as the racing keeps me awake

stoner by half a second!!! i didnt expect that, rossi says he is having grip issues and sliding a lot so he figuires he has a lot of time in the bag. Glad to see nicky towards the front and what is there to say about spies that hasnt been said.

Dani boy still struggling....breaks my heart

Bauti up in 7th - impressive.
Spies - Yup, the guy continues to impress.
Hope Nicky can turn around his last few dismal years and Dani can be up in the mix again. I like the Smurf. Edwards in 12th What's up with that - getting his ass handed to him by 'the rookie' thats' not gonna sit well.

I was expecting a good run from Stoner. He'll be pretty hungry to win this year.
Good for Hayden, I hope he can hang in with the top five all season.
Spies is a quick learner as he demonstrated last season.
I'm happy for Bautista. I would really like to see a strong showing from the Suzuki boys this year. They're due.
What's with Melandri? He would do better if he were on the Kawasaki. That Honda must really suck this year.
Pedrosa always shows up on race day. There's no denying that he is a fast rider.
Either way, I'm hoping for an exciting year.

not sure what happened but it says the track was dry, but something changed for the worse...many people went slower or the same as yesterday...i dont think anyone improved more then .5 seconds...which is not normal..especially for the first weekend of the year
