Jerez 2010

The Moto2 class continues to impress the hell out of me.
WOW - what a phenomenal race.

GP was a typical snoozer until the last few laps, even though there was a 4 or 5 bike scrap going on for 8th it didn't get much air time.
Nicky had another solid ride and Lorenzo made a late charge but overall the Moto2 race was waaaay more exciting.

That sucks man - but we all have our crosses to bear. I usually can't watch them live and when I do all the commentary is in Chinese!!

I agree, Moto 2 was like the motorcycle equivalent to a boxing match. The Nascar thing pissed me off.
Moto GP was fairly uneventful. Good run for Hayden. I never thought I'd see the day where he would finish ahead of Stoner. I think Rossi was hurting. It's not like him to not at least try to make a pass.

you can almost always watch all the racing live, though rarely in English, on fromsport.com

Yeah Jr you're right.
I got my wires crossed and posted it as Valencia then realized my mistake and tried to correct the thread title, which is why my OP says Jerez 2010.

My bad.

Something like that - completely the opposite end of the season.
Don't know why but when someone says 'Bike racing' and 'Spain' in the same sentence I automatically think Valencia...

ya it's odd 'cause it's actually the smallest of the spanish rounds really. It's the "big" one tho in that it's always the finale, always a special atmosphere.

Got a chance to catch both the GP & Moto2 races last night, and I must say that the Moto2 is crazy to watch. 41 on the grid, yikes. Thanks Rhett for adding those. The GP race was worth watching to. I am begining to like Lorenzo's riding style. Glad to see some racing.

500's had 36 bikes on the grid nearly every race. Then we started changing the rules every 3 years...

I thought the GP race was pretty boring until the last few laps. As far as Lorenzo goes - the kids plucky and he can ride like a demon, I respect his ability - I just can't stand his post race celebrations and macho posturing.
