MotoGP: Full US GP schedule announced, 'long' FP1.

WEDNESDAY 29TH JUNE 2005

The full three-day on track schedule for the upcoming US GP at Laguna Seca, round eight of the 2005 MotoGP World Championship, has been released.

With the 125 and 250 GP classes not present, the MotoGP stars will be supported by the AMA Superbike, Supersport and Superstock championships - plus the Superstars of Super Karts.

Meanwhile, in a change to the traditional MotoGP weekend format, there will now be a two hour first free practice session on Friday morning - instead of the usual one hour outing.

However, the remainder of the on track sessions will take place as usual - with one hour of FP2, FP3 and qualifying on Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon respectively, before the 20-minute warm-up and race on Sunday.
