Riding by the balls

of your feet that is. So, I've read many times where you should ride on the balls of your feet, and today I think I found out one of the reasons why.
Went out for a 50 mile ride today I hit some of my favorite twisties and in one hard left hander I had the toe of my left foot get stuck / drag between the peg and the pavement. It didn't feel like it was going to cause me to low side , but it was a ' strong tug ' on my left leg , I just held that lean angle through the turn and then repositioned my feet for the remainder of the ride.

It would be kinda cool for you more experienced guys to give some insight / advice on this though

I always ride on my tip toes.
makes it easier to shift your weight,
and I find it more comfy as well
Unless I am approching an intersection then I get ready w/ my rear break, but just w/ my one foot.

Cheers

I know why I ride on the balls of my feet, but those are industry secrets so I can't share.

I always get a good laugh when squids tell me how they drag on the turns......... toes that is On a side note, i was doin like the pic at a track day when my right foot slipped off the peg , didn't freak me out too much since my weight was on the inside peg. People tell me it's best to have your weight on your outside foot
