standard style

just thought to post this as I'm feeling decent right now...

So many time over the years I've seen this happen. Someone posts a photo of themselves and then proceeds to ask how their form is. At that point, everyone takes it upon themselves to provide critique and THEN post a picture of themselves as an example, showing what you "should" do...blah blah

Here is the deal ladies and gents, it doesn't fooking matter. If you can rail around a corner naked hanging sideways and backwards off the seat than so be it, more power to you. There is NO one "perfect" style, and if you watch racing you will recognize this. So often we get wrapped up in what "right" should look like, and the bottom line is fast = comfortable. Whatever makes YOU comfortable, that is what matters. Sure, there ARE some basic constraints, but overall if you can go fast and smooth looking like a monkey screwing a football, than it's your world!

So many times you see people saying:
"hang off more"
"more shoulder into the turn"
"change your foot position"
"look through more"
blah blah

I'll admit, I used to be one of those. But really, on ANY forum, how many of us have raced and won for big $$$? Probably NONE.

Go out, get on the track, develop YOUR style, and HAVE FUN. Take advice, but implement it how you want, after all your job isn't riding on it. :corn
